Hi, I'm Katie Shafer, founder of Mediakat Studio.
I've always been fascinated by the journey from an idea to something you can hold in your hands. Whether I'm developing retail packaging, illustrating a children's book, designing a brand identity, or creating a new product, I believe thoughtful design has the power to inspire creativity, curiosity, and connection.
For more than 20 years, I've worked at the intersection of design and print production, helping transform ideas into retail-ready products for nationally recognized brands while also building my own collection of books and creative projects. Today, Mediakat Studio is where my experience in design, illustration, publishing, and product development comes together to help businesses and families discover something meaningful.
